Cookies
Storage technologies used by UBOS24 in your browser.
Last updated: March 2026
1. Overview
This page describes cookies and similar browser storage used by UBOS24. Essential technologies are required for sign-in, security, and basic preferences. Optional analytics load only after you accept them in the consent banner (when analytics is enabled for your environment).
2. Essential storage
Essential cookies and local storage cannot be turned off through the optional-cookies banner because the product cannot function without them. They include the authenticated session cookie set by our gateway after sign-in and preference keys that remember your language or theme.
3. Optional analytics
When configured, UBOS24 may load a third-party analytics script (for example Google Analytics or Plausible) after you choose "Accept optional cookies". If you reject optional cookies, that script is not loaded. In local development the banner can still appear when NEXT_PUBLIC_COOKIE_CONSENT_UI=true even without a real analytics backend.
4. Regional information
Consent practices follow expectations in Ukraine, Poland, Bulgaria, Spain, Kazakhstan, Russia, and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai): you receive clear accept and reject options of equal prominence, essential cookies remain available regardless of your choice, and you may reopen your decision on this page when optional analytics is active.
5. Storage reference
| Name / key | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| session (HTTP cookie) | Essential | Maintains your authenticated UBOS24 session after sign-in. Set by the API gateway; required for dashboard, marketplace account, and POS access. | Session or according to server security policy |
| theme (localStorage) | Preference | Remembers light or dark interface theme. | Until cleared in browser settings |
| ubos:ui-lang, lang (localStorage) | Preference | Remembers your selected interface language. | Until cleared in browser settings |
| ubos:cookie-consent (localStorage) | Essential | Stores your optional-cookies choice, policy version, and decision date. | Until you change the choice or clear browser storage |
| marketplace_selected_address_id (localStorage) | Preference | Remembers the delivery address selected in the marketplace when you are signed in. | Until cleared in browser settings |
| Third-party analytics (if enabled and accepted) | Optional | Aggregated visit and usage measurement when NEXT_PUBLIC_ANALYTICS_MEASUREMENT_ID or NEXT_PUBLIC_PLAUSIBLE_DOMAIN is configured and you accept optional cookies. | According to the analytics provider; not set if you reject or analytics is disabled |
Optional analytics and the consent banner UI are not enabled in this environment. Essential cookies and preference storage listed above still apply.
